Being a parent changes the world of the parent(s), and that is what Josh Kaufman experienced, of course as soon as he was a dad some time ago. Learning parenting is something that he and his wife taught themselves almost overnight. Although this was a mandatory learning, some others, in our lives, may not be. He addresses how long it takes to learn ‘a’ skill. Having gone through the research that states that it took 10,000 hours to learn, rather to master a skill. His research lead him from ‘learn’ to ‘master’ as the level of skill acquisition.

A graph between performance level and practice time, indicated, ‘practice makes perfect’, although the interesting part is the lower part of the curve.
